The Abuja police today apprehended a pastor, Egbunu Vicent Onuche, 25, who has makes claim in employment jumbos after he duped one Ijeoma Ebenje of N200,000, with promise to get her employed with the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
The senior pastor of Spirit Embassy church located in Gwagwalada, told the news men that he met one Alhaji Sanusi Musa sometime back, whuch he was told if he had anybody lin search of job he can assist.
Vincent then make this known to his friend Ekene, Ijeoma’s brother, who then told her about the offer. She agreed to pay the sum of N200,000, at the expected time and even got a confirmation email from the fraudster-created Immigration e-mail address. .
He said about 16 other people job seekers like him also paid the sums ranging from N200,000 to N300, 000 for employment into the Nigeria Prison Service and placement into the Nigeria Immigration Service before the arrest.
